This depends on the extent and severity of what is being treated. For rosacea, stretch marks, and veins, optimal results are seen after 3-4 treatments, with treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Birth marks and veins see improvement after each treatment, however there is much more variety in the length of treatments.

A pulse of laser light may feel like a pinch similar to a snapping rubber band. The laser device preps the skin with a blast of chilled air just prior to the laser light. This reduces the discomfort to a very acceptable level.

Side effects may include temporary bruising and minor swelling, which can last up to 1 week. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing. Researchers have concluded that bruising from laser treatments indicates increased effectiveness in reducing redness.

You’ll begin to see results about 4 to 8 weeks  after your VBeam treatment. Most patients achieve 25-75% improvement with each treatment. With angiomas, results are seen within a matter of weeks.
